Neeya 2  is an upcoming horror film based on snakes starring Jai, Raai Laxmi, Catherine Tresa  and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar  in lead roles. The shooting of the film which is said to be a violent and passionate love story, nearing completion with a just a few days of shooting left.

Bala Saravanan will be providing the comic relief in the film, which is being produced on a huge budget. L Suresh has written the story, screenplay and dialogues apart from wielding megaphone for this film.

Raai Laxmi will be seen in three appearances in the movie; one among them will have a ‘naagin’ look. The movie is not a sequel to yesteryear horror film ‘Neeya’, but shares some similarities with the core plot.
