Director Anurag Kashyap, known for his intense movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Ugly, Black Friday, No Smoking etc, has been an ardent follower of Tamil movie as well, and he had credited directors Bala, Ameer and Sasikumar for inspiring his Gangs Of Wasseypur. He had also acted in the Tamil movie Imaikka Nodigal last year.
After having recently tweeted that he was approached to be a part of Aaranya Kaandam maker Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s second movie Super Deluxe as a writer and that he missed it out, the acclaimed director had yesterday watched Super Deluxe in Mumbai in a special screening for directors and celebrities in Mumbai.
After watching the movie, Anurag Kashyap had tweeted “Saw Kumar Raja’s Super Deluxe – Mind blown.. so much to celebrate”, and followed it with another tweet “After having watched the film my regret to be not a part of Super Deluxe has grown multi-fold. Kumar Raja is an unabashed, fearless maker with so many tricks up his sleeves. I am not at liberty to say few things, but you just don’t see it coming”. With these tweets from Anurag himself, the expectations on this Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha, Ramya Krishnan and Mysskin starrer releasing on March 29 has reached peaks.
