Composer turned actor GV Prakash ‘s romantic entertainer titled ‘ Kuppathu Raja ‘ directed by choreographer Baba Bhaskar is all set to hit the screens on April 5. The film has two female leads- Palak Lalwani and Poonam Bajwa.

Kuppathu Raja is touted to be a commercial entertainer, based on the lives of slum-dwellers and also stars R. Parthiepan, MS Bhaskar and Yogi Babu among others. GV Prakash himself has scored the music for the film. The movie is produced by S Focuss and has Mahesh Muthusami for cinematography and Praveen KL for the edits.

With Prabhudeva and Tamannaah starrer ‘Devi 2’ directed by AL Vijay is also slated for release on April 5, looks like it is battle between ‘Kuppathu Raja’ and ‘Devi 2’.
