After almost three years, Rajesh  is all set to have a release in Kollywood, and the director couldn’t be happier. His Mr Local, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara in the lead, is all set to hit screens this week and the director, at a recently held press conference, admitted that he’s confident the film will be an engaging entertainer this summer.

At the meet, Robo Shankar, who’s become one of the most sought-after comedy actors in the industry, said, “Rajesh sir’s movies usually cater to the family audiences. I’m glad to be working with him again (he was part of Rajesh’s Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru, which has GV Prakash in the lead).”

He further said, “I’m so happy that Sivakarthikeyan is just the same; I’ve known him for some time now and he’s just like how he was in his early days. This earnest nature will definitely escalate him to greater heights. Hip Hop Aadhi has become the sensation of masses, and the songs from Mr Local have become hits.”

Sakthivelan, who’s distributing the film, added, “I had the opportunity of looking into the business of Sivakarthikeyan’s first collaboration with Gnanavel Raja – Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga. After the film’s success, I have been personally monitoring the growth of business for the actor’s films. With the songs and trailer getting good reception, we are sure this film will be a big entertainer.”
