Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s acclaimed multi-starrer Super Deluxe has been selected to be screened at the prestigious Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, Canada. Described as the “most outstanding and largest genre film festival in North America”, the festival is cherished by fans of genre films.

The multi-genre Super Deluxe, which stars Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha, Fahadh Faasil, Ramya Krishnan, Mysskin, Bagavathy Perumal and Gayathrie Sankar among others, will be screened under the Special Screening section of the film fest.

The festival’s press release describes the film thus: During a single day in Chennai, four destinies become forever entwined in this crazy, ambitious, and deliberately overloaded slice of stylized contemporary Indian cinema, painting a cosmic fresco of absurd connections, coincidences, and delicious digressions!

The festival will take place from July 11 to August 1, and will see the screening of films starring actors like Liam Hemsworth (Killerman), and Richard Dreyfuss (Poignant Astronaut).
