The trailer of Dhanush’s Maari 2, directed by Balaji Mohan, was released a while ago, and it comes across as a rocking one, perhaps even better than the prequel.

The trailer starts with one of the characters saying that it’s hard to kill a man who isn’t afraid of death, a fitting line for the dynamic Maari who remained undaunted throughout the first part of the movie. His satirical attitude and ultra swag attire being retained, added to our excitement. Looks like the badass finally met his match in Araathu Anandhi, played by Sai Pallavi. Her fans who have been seeing her as a reserved girl in her previous movies will be looking forward to seeing her as the frisky, high-spirited Anandhi.  Tovino Thomas, who plays the villain, looks spooky. The music has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and it sounds like a winning combination. We can’t wait to witness the whole package on screen, which is releasing on December 21.
