Actor Vemal and Oviya’s 2010 release ‘Kalavani’ gave both actors the much needed breakthrough in their acting careers. As the shooting of the sequel has been wrapped up, there is a latest update from the makers.

The trailer of ‘Kalavani 2’ will be out tomorrow. The film has been directed by A Sarkunam, who made his debut with the prequel. ‘Kalavani’ was a comedy entertainer set in a rural background with good songs. The trailer of the sequel will give the fans a glimpse about what the film is going to be. The music of the film has been directed by Ghibran and the film has been bankrolled by Varmans Productions.

This could be a comeback film for Oviya and Vemal who haven’t had big hits in the recent past. The cast of the film include Saranya, Ilavarasu, Ganja Karupppu amongst others. The film is expected to hit screens in May.
