Nayanthara’s Kolaiyuthir Kaalam , which ran into controversy recently, is now all set to hit screens on June 14th. The makers of the film announced the release date on social media.

The audio launch of the film became a huge controversy when senior actor Radha Ravi, who was one of the guests at the event, made many misogynistic remarks against the film’s lead actress, Nayanthara.

Kolaiyuthir Kalam is directed by Chakri Toleti and the star cast includes Nayanthara, Prathap Pothan, Bhoomika Chawla and Rohini Hattangadi. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, the film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is now being remade in Hindi and Tamanaah is playing Nayan’s character in the remake.
