Superstar Rajinikanth is riding high on the success of the Karthik Subbaraj directed Pongal release Petta. The actor will be next seen in a project tentatively titled Thalaivar 166 directed by AR Murugadoss .Meanwhile sources close to us have given an important update regarding the film.

The shooting process of Thalaivar 166 will commence from April 10th onwards. The filming will take place in Mumbai. It is noted that AR Murugadoss had previously shot his 2012 Blockbuster Thuppaki in the city .

AR Murugadoss was last seen directing the 2018 Vijay Blockbuster Sarkar. Details regarding the supporting cast and crew of Thalaivar 166 is yet to be announced by the makers.
