After completing Thalapathy 63 with director Atlee, Vijay will team up with director Mohan Raja. The duo had earlier worked together in Velayudham.

Thalapathy Vijay is presently shooting for his 63rd film with director Atlee. The film, which has Nayanthara as the female lead, is said to be a sports-based entertainer on the likes of Lagaan, Chak De India and Pele. The actor is said to be playing the role of a football coach.

Even before he could complete Thalapathy 63, talks about his upcoming films have started doing the rounds. Earlier, two-film-old Karthik Naren and Mohan Raja’s names were being considered by Vijay and his team.

Now, going by director Mohan Raja’s words, it is clear that Thalapathy will team up with him for his 64th film. At a college function in Chennai, Raja said, “After Velayudham, I will teaming up with Vijay yet again for a film.”
